# Interlingua English Dictionary vs Drops

The clearest difference is update cadence: Drops at every 8 days against Interlingua English Dictionary's every 5 months. Drops also leads on ratings volume (72K vs 2) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Interlingua English Dictionary's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Interlingua English Dictionary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Drops sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drops holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drops has 72K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Interlingua English Dictionary's written reviews are positive against 75% of Drops's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Interlingua English Dictionary ships an update every 5 months, Drops every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
