# Interlingua English Dictionary vs Tandem

Interlingua English Dictionary and Tandem both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Interlingua English Dictionary's written reviews are positive against 47% of Tandem's. Tandem's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (39K vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Interlingua English Dictionary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tandem sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Interlingua English Dictionary against 4.6 for Tandem. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tandem has 39K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Interlingua English Dictionary's written reviews are positive against 47% of Tandem's.

Interlingua English Dictionary ships an update every 5 months, Tandem weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
