# TG5 vs ANSA

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ANSA at 100% against TG5's 28%. ANSA also leads on rating (4.0 vs 2.6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). TG5's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (34 vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ANSA holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TG5 has 34 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 28% of TG5's written reviews are positive against 100% of ANSA's.

TG5 ships an update every 2 months, ANSA every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
