# Kiwanuka vs No More Buttons

The clearest difference is update cadence: No More Buttons at weekly against Kiwanuka's every 5 weeks. No More Buttons also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 68%). Kiwanuka's advantage is ratings volume (328 vs 6) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Kiwanuka costs $0.99 and No More Buttons $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kiwanuka holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kiwanuka has 328 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Kiwanuka's written reviews are positive against 78% of No More Buttons's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kiwanuka ships an update every 5 weeks, No More Buttons weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
