# York Region Student Tools vs StudyFetch

The clearest difference is rating: StudyFetch at 4.8 against York Region Student Tools's 3.0. StudyFetch also leads on ratings volume (16K vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). York Region Student Tools's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and review sentiment (49% vs 33%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StudyFetch sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. York Region Student Tools asks for nothing beyond the download.

StudyFetch holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StudyFetch has 16K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of York Region Student Tools's written reviews are positive against 33% of StudyFetch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
