# Choice Compass vs Presence

The clearest difference is price: Presence at Free against Choice Compass's $10.99. Presence also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 20 months). Choice Compass's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Presence is free to download; Choice Compass costs $10.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Presence holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Choice Compass has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Choice Compass ships an update every 20 months, Presence every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
