# 民視新聞 vs 8world

The clearest difference is rating: 8world at 4.3 against 民視新聞's 2.8. 民視新聞's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 18%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

8world holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of 民視新聞's written reviews are positive against 18% of 8world's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

民視新聞 ships an update every 2 months, 8world monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
