# Be My Guide vs ProntoSIM

The clearest difference is ads: Be My Guide at none against ProntoSIM's shown. Be My Guide also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). ProntoSIM's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Be My Guide against 5.0 for ProntoSIM. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProntoSIM has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Be My Guide ships an update every 5 months, ProntoSIM every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
