# Arthritis Today vs re.flex

The clearest difference is rating: re.flex at 5.0 against Arthritis Today's 2.9. re.flex also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). Arthritis Today's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arthritis Today sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. re.flex asks for nothing beyond the download.

re.flex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arthritis Today has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Arthritis Today ships an update every 5 months, re.flex every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
