# Canada Press vs The Logic

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: The Logic at none against Canada Press's 4. The Logic also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Canada Press's advantage is ratings volume (55 vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Canada Press sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. The Logic asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Logic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Canada Press has 55 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 59% and 60% positive.

Canada Press ships an update every 12 months, The Logic every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
