# Canada Press vs AgCanada

The clearest difference is rating: Canada Press at 4.6 against AgCanada's 1.0. Canada Press also leads on ratings volume (55 vs 1). AgCanada's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 59%) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Canada Press sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. AgCanada asks for nothing beyond the download.

Canada Press holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Canada Press has 55 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Canada Press's written reviews are positive against 100% of AgCanada's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Canada Press ships an update every 12 months, AgCanada every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
