# HomeGoods vs ShopTansy

The clearest difference is rating: ShopTansy at 5.0 against HomeGoods's 2.6. ShopTansy also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). HomeGoods's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ShopTansy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HomeGoods has 2.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HomeGoods ships an update every 2 months, ShopTansy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
