# Wi vs UISP Mobile

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: UISP Mobile at none against Wi's 1. UISP Mobile also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and rating (4.3 vs 4.1). Wi's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 52%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. UISP Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

UISP Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 967 and 1.1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Wi's written reviews are positive against 52% of UISP Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
