# Wi vs OvrC

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wi at 60% against OvrC's 9%. Wi also leads on rating (4.1 vs 2.4) and ratings volume (979 vs 44). OvrC's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. OvrC asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wi holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wi has 979 ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of Wi's written reviews are positive against 9% of OvrC's.

Wi ships an update every 3 months, OvrC fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
