# NextApp vs Mogul

The clearest difference is rating: NextApp at 5.0 against Mogul's 3.8. NextApp also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 58%). Mogul's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 95 months) and ratings volume (23 vs 4). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextApp sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Mogul sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NextApp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mogul has 23 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. NextApp ships an update every 95 months, Mogul every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
