# NextApp vs I

The clearest difference is update cadence: I at every 3 weeks against NextApp's every 95 months. I also leads on ratings volume (303 vs 4) and device support. On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextApp sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and I sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for NextApp against 4.9 for I. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: I has 303 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of NextApp's written reviews are positive against 95% of I's.

NextApp ships an update every 95 months, I every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
