# PlayGem Backgammon Live Online vs Backgammon Friends Online

PlayGem Backgammon Live Online and Backgammon Friends Online both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 52% of PlayGem Backgammon Live Online's written reviews are positive against 25% of Backgammon Friends Online's. Backgammon Friends Online's advantage is chart position (#162 vs unranked). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlayGem Backgammon Live Online sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Backgammon Friends Online sells 24 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Backgammon Friends Online holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16K and 6.1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of PlayGem Backgammon Live Online's written reviews are positive against 25% of Backgammon Friends Online's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
