# PlayGem Backgammon Live Online vs Tawla Game

The clearest difference is ads: Tawla Game at none against PlayGem Backgammon Live Online's shown. Tawla Game also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 52%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). PlayGem Backgammon Live Online's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 5) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlayGem Backgammon Live Online sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Tawla Game sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlayGem Backgammon Live Online holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlayGem Backgammon Live Online has 16K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of PlayGem Backgammon Live Online's written reviews are positive against 67% of Tawla Game's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PlayGem Backgammon Live Online ships an update monthly, Tawla Game every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
