# MosaLingua vs CLEVEREST

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MosaLingua at 82% against CLEVEREST's 32%. MosaLingua also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.4) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). CLEVEREST's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 14.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MosaLingua sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per month and CLEVEREST sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MosaLingua holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MosaLingua has 1.8K ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 82% of MosaLingua's written reviews are positive against 32% of CLEVEREST's.

MosaLingua ships an update every 2 months, CLEVEREST every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
