# AutoGif vs Dig It

The clearest difference is rating: Dig It at 5.0 against AutoGif's 4.3. Dig It also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). AutoGif's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AutoGif sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Dig It asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dig It holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AutoGif has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AutoGif ships an update every 3 months, Dig It fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
