# WestJet vs MyParking

The clearest difference is rating: MyParking at 4.6 against WestJet's 2.2. MyParking also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). WestJet's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyParking holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyParking has 16K ratings behind it against 446, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of WestJet's written reviews are positive against 3% of MyParking's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WestJet ships an update every 2 weeks, MyParking every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
