# Applause ! vs Live Fan

The clearest difference is rating: Applause ! at 4.4 against Live Fan's 3.7. Applause ! also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 3). Live Fan's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Applause ! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Live Fan asks for nothing beyond the download.

Applause ! holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Applause ! has 1.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Applause !'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Live Fan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Applause ! ships an update every 3 months, Live Fan every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
