# Egoist vs Chordio

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chordio at every 10 days against Egoist's every 2 months. Egoist's advantage is ratings volume (65 vs 8) and review sentiment (73% vs 62%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Egoist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Chordio sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Egoist ships an update every 2 months, Chordio every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
