# Sheepshead Pro vs Gin Rummy +

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sheepshead Pro at monthly against Gin Rummy +'s every 4 months. Sheepshead Pro also leads on ratings volume (114 vs 3) and rating (3.5 vs 3.3). Gin Rummy +'s advantage is review sentiment (44% vs 36%). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Sheepshead Pro costs $1.99 and Gin Rummy + $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sheepshead Pro holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sheepshead Pro has 114 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Sheepshead Pro's written reviews are positive against 44% of Gin Rummy +'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sheepshead Pro ships an update monthly, Gin Rummy + every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
