# Sheepshead Pro vs ContraBee

The clearest difference is price: ContraBee at Free against Sheepshead Pro's $1.99. ContraBee also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.5). Sheepshead Pro's advantage is ratings volume (114 vs 4) and review sentiment (36% vs 24%). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

ContraBee is free to download; Sheepshead Pro costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ContraBee holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sheepshead Pro has 114 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Sheepshead Pro's written reviews are positive against 24% of ContraBee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sheepshead Pro ships an update monthly, ContraBee every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and July 5, 2026 respectively.
