# MyDolphin vs SMOROBOT

The clearest difference is rating: SMOROBOT at 3.3 against MyDolphin's 1.6. SMOROBOT also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). MyDolphin's advantage is ratings volume (185 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SMOROBOT holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyDolphin has 185 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of MyDolphin's written reviews are positive against 0% of SMOROBOT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyDolphin ships an update every 3 months, SMOROBOT every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
