# ScoreCam vs SideLine Broadcast

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SideLine Broadcast at none against ScoreCam's 7. SideLine Broadcast also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). ScoreCam's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 39 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScoreCam sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. SideLine Broadcast asks for nothing beyond the download.

ScoreCam holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScoreCam has 1.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ScoreCam ships an update every 3 weeks, SideLine Broadcast every 39 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
