# ScoreCam vs CameraFi Live

The clearest difference is monetization model: CameraFi Live at free with in-app purchases against ScoreCam's subscription. ScoreCam's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 320). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScoreCam sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and CameraFi Live sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for ScoreCam against 4.4 for CameraFi Live. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScoreCam has 1.8K ratings behind it against 320, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 46% of ScoreCam's written reviews are positive against 43% of CameraFi Live's.

ScoreCam ships an update every 3 weeks, CameraFi Live every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
