# ScoreCam vs SnipThat

The clearest difference is rating: SnipThat at 5.0 against ScoreCam's 4.5. SnipThat also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7). ScoreCam's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScoreCam sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. SnipThat asks for nothing beyond the download.

SnipThat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScoreCam has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ScoreCam ships an update fortnightly, SnipThat every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
