# instaVTEC vs ITP

The clearest difference is review sentiment: instaVTEC at 100% against ITP's 11%. instaVTEC also leads on rating (4.0 vs 2.2) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). ITP's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (17 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

instaVTEC holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ITP has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of instaVTEC's written reviews are positive against 11% of ITP's.

instaVTEC ships an update every 2 months, ITP fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
