# instaVTEC vs Supercar Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Supercar Connect at 5.0 against instaVTEC's 4.0. Supercar Connect also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). instaVTEC's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Supercar Connect sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. instaVTEC asks for nothing beyond the download.

Supercar Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Supercar Connect has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

instaVTEC ships an update every 2 months, Supercar Connect every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
