# OSN+ vs :recommended

The clearest difference is rating: OSN+ at 4.4 against :recommended's 4.0. OSN+ also leads on ratings volume (23K vs 1) and chart position (#151 vs unranked). :recommended's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OSN+ sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and :recommended sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OSN+ holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OSN+ has 23K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OSN+ ships an update fortnightly, :recommended weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
