# FileGuard vs Unmarkit Video

The clearest difference is update cadence: Unmarkit Video at every 3 weeks against FileGuard's every 2 months. FileGuard's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FileGuard sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Unmarkit Video sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FileGuard ships an update every 2 months, Unmarkit Video every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
