# Dropcountr vs EyeOnWater

The clearest difference is rating: EyeOnWater at 4.7 against Dropcountr's 3.5. EyeOnWater also leads on ratings volume (44K vs 89). Dropcountr's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 56%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EyeOnWater holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EyeOnWater has 44K ratings behind it against 89, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Dropcountr's written reviews are positive against 56% of EyeOnWater's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dropcountr ships an update every 2 weeks, EyeOnWater every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
