# RobotVSAlien vs Miner Steve

The clearest difference is rating: Miner Steve at 5.0 against RobotVSAlien's 4.0. Miner Steve also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1). RobotVSAlien's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 16 months) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RobotVSAlien sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Miner Steve sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
