# REVOLT TV vs The Explorers

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: REVOLT TV at none against The Explorers's 1. REVOLT TV also leads on review sentiment (68% vs 55%). The Explorers's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Explorers sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. REVOLT TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Explorers holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 95 and 86 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of REVOLT TV's written reviews are positive against 55% of The Explorers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
