# REVOLT TV vs MagellanTV Documentaries

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: REVOLT TV at none against MagellanTV Documentaries's 4. REVOLT TV also leads on review sentiment (68% vs 37%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.6). MagellanTV Documentaries's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MagellanTV Documentaries sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. REVOLT TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

MagellanTV Documentaries holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MagellanTV Documentaries has 3.9K ratings behind it against 95, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of REVOLT TV's written reviews are positive against 37% of MagellanTV Documentaries's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
