# Chief Mobile vs eCOP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: eCOP at none against Chief Mobile's 1. eCOP also leads on rating (3.6 vs 3.4) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). Chief Mobile's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%) and ratings volume (43 vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chief Mobile sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. eCOP asks for nothing beyond the download.

eCOP holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chief Mobile has 43 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Chief Mobile's written reviews are positive against 50% of eCOP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chief Mobile ships an update every 5 weeks, eCOP every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
