# Bakersfield Mobile vs DadsonPay

The clearest difference is rating: DadsonPay at 4.6 against Bakersfield Mobile's 3.9. DadsonPay also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 18) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DadsonPay holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DadsonPay has 1.4K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Bakersfield Mobile's written reviews are positive against 75% of DadsonPay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bakersfield Mobile ships an update every 8 months, DadsonPay every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
