# Rachio vs Allreno

The clearest difference is rating: Rachio at 4.9 against Allreno's 4.0. Rachio also leads on ratings volume (159K vs 4). Allreno's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rachio sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Allreno asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rachio holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rachio has 159K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Rachio's written reviews are positive against 75% of Allreno's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rachio ships an update every 3 weeks, Allreno every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
