# Rachio vs Morari

The clearest difference is rating: Rachio at 4.9 against Morari's 3.4. Rachio also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (159K vs 5). Morari's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 58%) and in-app purchases (none vs 5). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rachio sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Morari asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rachio holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rachio has 159K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Rachio's written reviews are positive against 100% of Morari's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rachio ships an update every 3 weeks, Morari every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
