# GRANBOARD vs Benchmark Golf

The clearest difference is rating: Benchmark Golf at 4.4 against GRANBOARD's 3.1. Benchmark Golf also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and chart position (#41 vs unranked). GRANBOARD's advantage is review sentiment (35% vs 6%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GRANBOARD sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Benchmark Golf sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Benchmark Golf holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 515 and 2.4K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of GRANBOARD's written reviews are positive against 6% of Benchmark Golf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GRANBOARD ships an update fortnightly, Benchmark Golf every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
