# Foconet vs iDSecure

The clearest difference is update cadence: iDSecure at every 3 weeks against Foconet's every 23 months. iDSecure also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Foconet ships an update every 23 months, iDSecure every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
