# Accounting Flashcards vs CGFM Study Guide

The clearest difference is rating: CGFM Study Guide at 5.0 against Accounting Flashcards's 4.6. Accounting Flashcards's advantage is ratings volume (103 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Accounting Flashcards sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and CGFM Study Guide sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CGFM Study Guide holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Accounting Flashcards has 103 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
