# Shoonya Kids vs kMath

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Shoonya Kids at 97 against kMath's 6. kMath's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shoonya Kids sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and kMath sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

kMath holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shoonya Kids has 97 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Shoonya Kids's written reviews are positive against 71% of kMath's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
