# Resy vs DBC Dining

Resy and DBC Dining both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of DBC Dining's written reviews are positive against 43% of Resy's. DBC Dining also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Resy's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (781K vs 39). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Resy against 4.8 for DBC Dining. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resy has 781K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two.
