# Resy vs Eagle Eats

Resy and Eagle Eats both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Eagle Eats's written reviews are positive against 43% of Resy's. Eagle Eats also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Resy's advantage is ratings volume (781K vs 11) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Resy against 4.9 for Eagle Eats. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resy has 781K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of Resy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Eagle Eats's.

Resy ships an update every 2 weeks, Eagle Eats monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and July 3, 2026 respectively.
