# Resy vs AIPlateMate

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Resy at none against AIPlateMate's 3. Resy also leads on ratings volume (809K vs 1) and chart position (#52 vs unranked). AIPlateMate's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AIPlateMate sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Resy asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Resy against 5.0 for AIPlateMate. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resy has 809K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Resy ships an update every 2 weeks, AIPlateMate daily. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
