# Forest vs Fluid Focus App

Forest and Fluid Focus App both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 98% of Fluid Focus App's written reviews are positive against 58% of Forest's. Forest's advantage is ratings volume (50K vs 18) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forest sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Fluid Focus App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Forest against 4.8 for Fluid Focus App. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forest has 50K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of Forest's written reviews are positive against 98% of Fluid Focus App's.

Forest ships an update weekly, Fluid Focus App every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
