# Forest vs Sit Still

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sit Still at 100% against Forest's 58%. Sit Still also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days). Forest's advantage is ratings volume (50K vs 2) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forest sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Sit Still sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forest holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forest has 50K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Forest's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sit Still's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Forest ships an update every 9 days, Sit Still every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
